BOLT ACTION EVENTS AT MILLENNIUMCON 2022

First off we have three events planned for Bolt Action

First event – 1250 point Tank Wars

Thursday Night (event AM-175). Register if you want to try out your luck at Tank hunting and commanding.

Second Event – Tournament Warm-up

Friday Afternoon 2-6 (event CM-176) This is Veterans day so we should have folks available. This is a rehearsal warmup for Saturday. 8 players 4 per side Axis vs Allies 1250 points. Using Bolt Action Fog of War setup. Order dice are pulled from bag by referee and players have order dice for their forces. When I pull die you may use one of your dice to activate unit. Fog of War is three dissimilar colored dice which determine end of round. When third die is pulled round ends. Whether everyone has activated all units or not. Sounds strange but we have played this many ways and large scale multi player battles flow well.

Third event
Texas Bolt Action Championship Tournament

Time: Saturday, 12-November, 8 AM to 10 PM
Event: ET-177
T.O.: Robert Williams

Registration begins Oct1 and last year we filled up in 1 day. Don’t hesitate.

Saturday All Day. This is the biggie. Originally slated as three games where two platoons were necessary that being one 750 point and the second of 1250 for attacker defender scenarios with side swapping for second round and final third round meeting engagement with 3-5 objectives. After some feedback from players who contend they cannot possibly defend with 750 against a 1250 point force, I have decided to switch format to escalation of 750, 1000, and 1250 point meeting engagements. With that in mind you will build off your base 750 point platoon to 1000 points and finally 1250 points. Your initial 750 force will be added to the next level. The platoons are from the Armies of books, Minor nations without an “Armies Of” book will be allowed from relevant books in which they appear as regular units. Any platoons which are Campaign Specific are not allowed. If an entry shows that a unit may be used in a reinforced platoon they will be handled on a case by case basis. This is a single platoon, no order dice limit. No Tank only platoons. As always any questions please ask. Depending on how many peasants show up at the house with pitchforks and torches we will go with this.

Army lists are due NLT November 1st, 2022 to robert.williams@swri.org.

Also send questions there or post on line if it is a general comment or question others may want an answer. Latest FAQ are in effect which is this month September 2022 from Warlord.
